Common questions

Why does Return ask for Screen Time access?

Return uses Apple’s Family Controls features for the Before apps and While using moments on apps you select. You control that permission in iOS.

Can Return read content inside other apps?

No. Apple gives Return opaque selections for the apps you choose; Return does not receive passwords, messages, or content from inside those apps.

How do I remove an Echo?

During the initial experience or an active membership, open the Echo’s three-dot menu, choose Delete, and confirm. Creating, editing and deleting saved Echoes and ideas require that access; reading saved content remains available afterward. See our Privacy Policy for storage and deletion limits.

What happens after 72 hours?

The experience starts after you first complete setup; replaying setup does not restart it. No subscription starts automatically. Basic app protection, Continue and re-locking remain available afterward. Membership enables personal Echo and saved-idea content in the pause, personal Echo delivery, and creating, editing or deleting saved content.

How do I manage or restore membership?

Use Restore Purchases in Return’s membership screen with the Apple Account used to buy it. Manage or cancel through iPhone Settings > your name > Subscriptions > Return. Removing the app does not cancel a subscription. A change between billing periods may take effect at your next renewal.

Does the timer measure time inside Instagram?

The visible timer shows elapsed Return-session time. It is not an exact measurement of time inside another app. iOS controls usage check-ins, notifications and Live Activity visibility; Dynamic Island presentation depends on the iPhone model.
